Giant 11 inch exceptionally rare Myott advertising Pinch Neck Jug

This is a rare opportunity to own this very-hard-to-come-by Myott Art Deco advertising Pinch Jug. Made by the factory in very limited numbers for marketing purposes. Compare the size of this jug to the smaller, more usual size, jug behind it. NOTE: The smaller jug is just for comparison purposes and is NOT part of this sale item.

A whopping 11 inches (280mm) tall and over 8.5 inches (216mm) wide, this is one of the most imposing pieces of Myott I’ve ever seen. Great paintwork to this ‘ITR’ Pinch Jug and fully marked to the base with the gold Myott mark and typical russet coloured ‘Made in England’. Pattern number 8387.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks and decorated with bands of orange and black with brown background. To my knowledge, no one knows what the ‘ITR’ – painted in black – signifies.
