Myott Art Deco Cat & Mouse Jug - present for cat lover

Extremely rare Myott Art Deco Cat Handle Jug, sometimes called a Cat Handle Jug. This Myott Jug is very sought after and extremely rare, and would be the ultimate present for a cat lover. The Cat handle Jug measures about 8 inches tall over 10 inches at its widest point. The Cat handle Jug is decorated in great Art Deco colours of bright orange and black on a light yellow background. The style of the piece is reminiscent of the early Walt Disney designs for Mickey Mouse as of course the piece was produced from a similar era - around 1935.

It is fully marked with the Gold Myott crown and also ENGLAND in a russet colour. There is also a small hand painted, indiscernable painter's mark. The jug is in excellent condition with just slight crazing and minimal paint loss.
