Myott 1950s retro Checkers Trio (Green)

A very stylish Myott retro Trio consisting of cup, saucer and tea plate in the Green Checkers ‘stitch’ pattern. This design was popular in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. The cup is 7cm (2.75 inches) tall and is a solid green colour. The saucer and plate adopt the green checked pattern, the saucer being 14.4cm (5.7 inches) wide and the plate 16.2cm (6.4 inches) wide.

The cup is marked with an embossed MYOTT ENGLAND in an arc and both the saucer and plate display the full MYOTT SON & Co. Ltd. green CHECKERS mark, which also reads ENGLAND. The whole set is in immaculate condition.
