Myott 6.5 inch Art Deco Doric Jug H9384

This Art Deco Myott Doric Jug is the medium size variety standing 16cm (6.5 inches) tall and is sometimes called a Lemonade or Cider Jug. The bold Art Deco cherries pattern is present both front and back, with a black handle and base and a tan coloured scallop design to the inner rim. I can only recall seeing two other examples displaying this pattern.

The base of the Doric Jug is stamped with the full gold Myott crown, HAND PAINTED, MADE IN ENGLAND in russet with pattern number H9384. There is an impressed batch number 30. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is no crazing to the piece either.
