Super geometric Tunisian (Square Neck) Jug by Myott Son & Co., 20.5cm (8.0 inches) tall, 12cm (4.75 inches) wide from spout to handle. This is a strong Art Deco shape and also a great geometric pattern using red, green and black on the honey glaze background.
The jug is fully stamped to the base with the gold Myott crown, MADE IN ENGLAND in russet, a registration number REGD. No. 779316, which dates to 1935 and the pattern number 8695. There is an both an incised and a painted black painter’s mark. The jug is in excellent condition with very minimal paint loss. There are no chips, cracks or restoration and the paintwork is very strong and bright. There is no crazing to the jug.
